Jared Leto in the movie “Switchback”Last night , I ran into seeing a movie called “Switchback” on Cinemax . Dennis Quaid is the main character of this film. But it was not Mr. Quaid that drew my attention. It is the young man who played a doctor named Lane Dixon stole the show. His real name is Jared Leto . After searching on the website, I found he is really talented at both acting and music and actually I had seen many of his works before. It was until “ Switchback “ that I began to notice his talent. I only saw the half part of the movie. When I saw the doctor saved some girl ‘s life unknowingly from Denny Glover ( serial killer in this movie), I had fallen into the movie completely and could notleave the couch unless I saw the ending. I was worried about the young doctor’s life. Would he be mistaken by the police as the serial killer and it seemed to me Denny Glover the serial killer was intended to had Jared as his unfortunate double. However, Jared was a nice young man with virtue! He even saved Denny’s life from the car crash at the edge of the cliff ! How brave a man he was! The doctor was set up and did not know he’s going to a death trap especially when the serial killer looked like just ordinary as people around us. At the end of the movie, he found that Denny was weired and began to doubt Denny’s identity. Still , Denny escaped by some wrong news revealed on the television. Then, on the train, the old man’ talking about the crime scene hotel disclosed that Denny was the serial killer.From then on, Jared had to fight for his life, and in the mean time, he still wanted to saved the old man’s life. The doctor is a man of morality! After the killer killed himself accidentally and Dennis Quad was wondering where to find his own son without the killer telling the truth before he died…. The badly injured doctor who could not speak a word still managed to grab a pen form pocket of his trousers and wrote down the address the killer once talked about and the brilliant doctor just understood suddenly it was where Dennis’ son live! It is really touching and I love this character a lot. Jared Leto played this role just right and very convincing ! I could not help but fall in love with this character totally. Still, it was such a pity that the director of this movie did not tell more of the following up of the doctor. Was he still alive or he’s too badly injured and lost his life eventually…We don’t know… But Jared Leto the young doctor in “Switchback” had become one of my favorite movie characters for good. That's for sure! I have to say: Jared Leto, You are awesome in the film “Switchback”. You really is!! Looking forward to your next role with your unique choice and vivid performance !!
